BIOGRAPHY AND CREDENTIALS

Jennifer was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in McLean, VA where she was exposed to Traditional Chinese medicine.. She attended the University of Virginia where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies. She then went on to study acupuncture and Chinese medicine in the San Francisco Bay area. After graduating in 2006 from a four year medical degree program at ACCHS with a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine, she received her license to practice acupuncture in California. She spent 3 years helping women with cancer at the state's first ever complementary and alternative medicine clinic for cancer. She also worked with patients who were seriously ill with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C at the Quan Yin Healing Arts Clinic. She has since received extensive training in various styles and methods of acupuncture pertaining to the treatment of pain, infertility, facial rejuvenation, and women's health. 

 

Jennifer is an NCCAOM (National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) Board certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. She is also a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) and a member of RESOLVE, the National Infertility Association.

 

She currently holds licenses to practice acupuncture in California, Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland. Jennifer has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for ten years. 

Jennifer has been a faculty member of South Baylo University, Virginia campus. She is a Board Member and former Vice President of the Acupuncture Society of Virginia (ASVA).
